Blackman & White BW50B BW51B BW52B Coated Titanium Decagonal (10-sided) Knife Blades

These polygonal blades are primarily used on electrically powered rotary tools operating at up to 12,000 RPM. The unique 10-sided geometry prevents material drag and wire leakage when rolling or shearing through tough industrial fabrics.

Material Composition & "Titanium" Coating
  • Base Core: These blades are manufactured from high-purity solid cemented tungsten carbide . Pure titanium is too soft to maintain a sustainable cutting edge for raw industrial cutting, so the core remains tungsten carbide to ensure rigid structural integrity. 
  • The Coating: The "Titanium" designation refers to a high-performance Titanium Nitride (TiN) hard coat vapor-deposited onto the carbide surface. This golden/bronze coating reduces friction, dissipates heat buildup during high-RPM operations, and extends the overall blade lifespan by up to 3 to 5 times compared to uncoated options.

  • Zund : Compatible with Z50,Z51, and Z52 circular/decagonal rotary blades (Part #3910335, #3910336, #3910337).
