As an upcut bit, the T00500 is particularly effective for:
Chip Evacuation: The spiral design pulls debris out of the cut, which is critical for deep cuts or slots where heat buildup can melt plastics.
High-Speed Cutting: Designed for use with high-speed nesting CNC applications like the Colex Sharpcut flatbed cutter.
Plunge Cutting: The drill-like geometry allows it to plunge directly into material more effectively than standard straight bits.
Note: Because upcut bits pull material upward, they may leave a slightly rougher finish on the top surface of the workpiece while maintaining a very clean bottom edge.
