Functional Application
As an upcut bit, the T00552 excels at chip evacuation, which is critical when routing heat-sensitive materials like acrylic to avoid "weld-back". While it provides an excellent finish on the bottom of the cut, users should be aware that upcut bits can occasionally cause slight fraying on the top surface of some materials compared to downcut alternatives.
For specialized tasks requiring different cut depths or coatings, Colex related bits such as the T00550 (1-inch cut length) or the T00525 (superior coated for extended life).
