The 500-9852 is widely considered a "workhorse" tool for mid-range rigid sheet materials. The increased 4 mm core allows you to push the machine faster than 3 mm bits without fearing immediate snapping.
Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM / Dibond): Excellent choice for routing ACM. The 4 mm thickness easily clears aluminum skins and polyethylene cores cleanly.
Acrylic & Solid Plastics: Ideal for processing acrylic sheet, polycarbonate, and dense PVC up to 12 mm thick.
